Abattoir Manifesto

Abattoir embraces dada and surrealism as spiritual ancestors. We uphold their commitment to deny and destroy all previous forms of art and subsequent expressions which strayed from the ideal of complete liberation of the mind.

We are not dadaists or surrealists; But we are quite capable, when necessary, of making use of dada and surrealism like anyone else.

Abattoir is an electronic expression of the metaphysical zeitgeist which calls for the abolition of the emptiness and suffering that is referred to as reality. It is a means of total liberation of the mind and all that resembles it.

We are determined to make a Revolution. We are not interested in the neuroses of your mundane delusions, for these have been proved counter-revolutionary. We live for the psychoses of your dreams and hallucinations.

We have embraced the internet as a metaphor for the psychic plane. We love the strangeness of the mind but deny its existence. We are debauched by the hedonism of infinite Possibility and the illusion of Information.

We want to be entertained as the buildings collapse behind us.

We slaughter words, Beware that your words do not escape you. We will not be diminished. Abattoir has little tolerance for aesthetic faux-pas.

We are electrons in Revolt. We defy you to attempt to fix our position. We must not succumb to the forces which attempt to integrate us into a static society that is nothing more than a megalomaniacal fantasy of the least imaginative elements of the mass mind.
